CL 3/31

94-95: Julie searched for information by going to a screening of An Inconvenient Truth and then a discussion immediately following it. The discussion helped her figure out a specific issue.

100: Articles in magazines can give topics on current issues. They are also written for anyone to be able to understand rather than just people in the field. Newspapers are similar. Audiovisual materials can be photos of videos. Websites include all of these things and more.

102: use keyword searching, phrase searching, boolean searching, and subject words.

115: Find home page. Reading the site mission can give a lot of information about the sites goals and biases. Reading about credentials can help you understand how reliable the information is. If it has funding or donors, they might influence what is said on the site. How current it is can also help you understand how reliable it is and how updated the information is.

152-161: states topic in introduction, gives details to support topic. gives her opinion on the new homes and then goes into the environmental impact. Introduction has a little introduction to the topic but then has a longer more detailed introduction before getting into the environmental aspect.

I have a twin sister who looks nothing like me, I went to Taylor High School. I played football in high school, I was the kicker. I kicked a game winning field goal in overtime from 32 yards. I am in the Ohio Army National Guard. My job is military police, everyone hates us until the need us. I am studying Special Education! I want to make a difference in the world, even if it is for just one person.
