This definitely was an interesting book but it was not my favorite. I am not much of a reader anyway so for me to go out of my way to read a book is rare. I enjoy a good mystery book and this book was good but I would not go out of my way to read it personally. The story had a good plot and a goos story line. I thought the author did a good job with the characters and how the author was able to get their point across even though it took a little bit to get there. Rose’s confusion and just how vulnerable she was clearly was hard on her and cause her to lash out at her close friend. She was under a lot of stress and caused her to think harshly about other people. All this stress came from her father and mothers bad relationship. I did not think this story went to much into sexuality I thought it was more about her personal life and what she had going on personally. I thought this was more details to fill the story. This books talks about sex and miscarriages and hangouts, this was less of a happy story and more on the sad kind. I think this is book is for more adults not so much children because is was a bit heavy and serious. This color scheme was interesting but as I read this I did not think much about it.
