I would like to analyze Aya Life in Yop City. I would like to go into detail about the culture and how a graphic novel was able to convey the story and how the pictures in this graphic novel piece the story together. I would also like to talk about how childhood can be so important in a child’s growth and development.
I want to break down how different cultures can shape children to having different beliefs and different ways to do somethings and I want to just dive into how culture can really make someone who they are. I also want to do this with a graphic novel because I see it as a challenge. I see this as a challenge because I am not the biggest fan of comic books or graphic novels and this gives me the opportunity to look into them more and become more comfortable with this type of book! I also want to go into any type of struggles that people face just because of their cultures and how they do things differently that other cultures and how people can help fix this by learning about the other cultures.
